Position: Transport and Logistics Officer
Reports To: Commercial/ Logistics Manager
Location: Southerton, Harare, Zimbabwe
Interacts With: Transporters/Suppliers and Head of departments
Job Purpose: Coordinating and supporting effective transport and logistics operations of the company.

Job Specification
The Transport and Logistics Officer will be responsible for, inter alia:
- Liaising and representing the Company when dealing with transporters and suppliers of raw materials.
- Processing and coordinating imports permit for agricultural commodities with relevant regulatory authorities.
- Applying and acquitting export CD1s
- Preparing transport and logistics reports
- Issuing loading instructions, dispatch notes and collection orders.
- Tracking shipments and updating management on the clearance status of shipments and commodities in transit.
- Supporting effective coordination of transport and logistics activities.
- Supporting relevant Food Safety/operational compliance processes.

Candidate Specification
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in edible oil, agriculture products or bulk commodities distribution is an added advantage
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management / Business Zimbabwe transport routes and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Work accurately under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Detail oriented and proactive
- High level of integrity and accountability
