OPPORTUNITY
Quantity Surveyor

QUALIFIED QUANTITY SURVEYOR WANTED

Grand Constructors is a growing Zimbabwean construction company seeking to establish a network of qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyors to support our residential and commercial construction projects.

We are looking for a professional who can work with us on a project-based / consultancy basis, supporting accurate costing, budgeting, procurement and financial control throughout the construction process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets
- Conduct material and labour cost assessments
- Assist with tender documentation and quotations
- Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets
- Prepare valuations and progress payment assessments
- Assess variations and their financial impact
- Provide cost advice throughout the project
- Prepare project cost reports when required

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Relevant professional registration/accreditation in Zimbabwe
- Proven experience in construction cost management
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and pricing
- Experience with residential and/or commercial projects
- Good analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Professional references required
