FINANCE MANAGER

JOB ADVERTISEMENT: FINANCE MANAGER

Location: Harare | Department: Finance and Accounts | Employment Type: Contract

A local company in Harare invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Finance Manager. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Oversee financial operations, accounting records, management accounts, and financial statements.
    Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
    Manage cash flow, working capital, bank reconciliations, debtors, and creditors.
    Ensure compliance with Zimbabwean tax laws, ZIMRA requirements, and applicable financial reporting standards.
    Maintain internal controls, safeguard company assets, and manage financial risks.
    Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
    Supervise finance staff and monitor departmental performance.
    Advise management on cost control, profitability, investments, and business expansion.
 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    At least three years' relevant experience in financial management.
    Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
    Knowledge of Zimbabwean tax legislation, statutory compliance, and IFRS.
    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in accounting and ERP systems.
    Added advantages: ACCA, CIMA, CIS, or another recognised professional accounting qualification; relevant professional membership; a Master's Degree; and experience in a multi-departmental organisation.
